ACADEMY GUIDELINES - TRAVEL CODE OF CONDUCT

Academy Player Travel Code of Conduct

 

 
Our on field performance is as important as our character and behavior off the field.

The following are Academy guidelines and rules that must be adhered to.

OFFICAL GEAR
All members of the Force Academy are expected to cooperate with our current sponsors.
Academy players must adhere to our relationship with NIKE and NIKE SPARQ as the official apparel
and equipment
sponsor of the Force Academy Soccer..
Please make sure that your uniform and all uniform accessories, including warm-ups and equipment bags,
are compliant with club policies.

All team officials must wear FORCE ACADEMY Nike Warm-up (all must be the same) or Polo shirts ( where available)


The minimal standard dress code while traveling will be no cut off’s, no hats.

Team coach may enforce a further dress code.

 

BEHAVIOR / DECORUM
Disrespectful slogans, political statements, disrespectful wording or statements shall not be displayed on clothing. A higher standard may be established by the Head Coach when desired.
At no time will the Head Coach set a lesser standard then set forth in the Academy Guidelines.

 

ROOM REQUIREMENTS
Players are expected to stay in their assigned room. Head coach will assign rooms for the team.

 

TRAVEL CURFEW
The Head Coach will determine a team curfew.

Player that do not adhere to the curfew set by the coach will be disciplined. NO EXCEPTIONS

 

TRAVEL RESPONSIBILITIES
The players are expected to travel and stay and participate with the team for the entire event.

For as long as the team is still playing in the tournament, players are required to meet at a designated area,
at a designated time as specified by the coach as per itinerary to do any team related activities such as meals, walks

etc.

The entire event is classified as when the player leaves at the home airport or hotel and when the player returns

to the home airport or at the end of the participating tournament. Any exceptions will be granted
and determined by the Head Coach.

As far as common practice, all participants on the trip are expected to be polite, positive, well-mannered, cooperative,
good sports, and respectful and considerate of others.

Rooms and the vans will need to be kept clean.

There are times when players may be without direct adult supervision. When this happens, the Head Coach will be expected to know where you are and when you will be back. At the same time, it is always your responsibility to:
a) know how to find one of the adults,
b) to know when and where you are expected to be next,
c) to be there on time.
When you are off without adult supervision, you will always use the “Rule of Three” - at least three players toge
ther.

 

INTERNET ACCESS
Is permitted provided the content is acceptable

 

TEAM MEALS
The Head coach will determine time of meals. All team members are required to eat together and arrive on time for the meals.

Exceptions to the above must first be cleared by the coach.

Players may be sent home at parent's additional expense if they violate serious behavior rules related to drugs, drinking, illegal activities, tobacco products or having members of the opposite sex in rooms at any time.

 

The Academy and its coaches and administrators will not be liable for any additional expenses that may arise due to discipline
